STAGE 1 - For stock or mildly modified vehicles. Fuel and timing curves are modified for optimal performance and mileage using less expensive, lower octane fuels. Programming is designed to burn fuel at peak efficiency, which results in improved performance and mileage. Daily drivers can use lower cost regular fuel for potential mileage gains, but for optimal performance gains use of mid-grade or better is recommended.

Dynamic Spectrum Tuning provides power gains across the entire power band-not just at full throttle. Point by point air/fuel ratio, ignition advance and various other tuning points provide performance gains of up to 25 horsepower. Improves throttle response, acceleration and low end torque. Simple, plug-in installation in less than 30 minutes.

Are JET Performance Chips emissions legal?

Yes. All JET Performance Chips and most Performance Modules are 50 state emissions legal. They do not change the emissions at all from the stock tuning chip for any Federal or local emissions test. C.A.R.B. (California Air Resources Board) has issued Executive Order numbers D-234 through D-234-6 covering all JET Performance Power Chips, making JET Performance chips the most complete line of high-performance chips that can legally be sold, installed, and driven in the state of California. Because of C.A.R.B.'s very rigid rules concerning exhaust emissions, the Environmental Protection Agency ( E.P.A. ) accepts C.A.R.B. approval as evidence that an aftermarket part is clean and suitable for use in all other 49 states

What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 Power Tuning?

Stage 1-For stock or mildly modified vehicles. Fuel and timing curves modified for optimal performance and mileage using midgrade fuel (89 octane or better recommended). Good for daily driving, towing and street performance. Improves horsepower, torque, overall acceleration and throttle response. No other modifications to vehicle are required, but the Stage 1 programming will work with most aftermarket upgrades without using premium fuel.

Stage 2-Designed for the performance enthusiast, the Stage 2 features more aggressive programming to make the most horsepower and torque available. The Stage 2 programming requires use of 91 octane fuel to optimize the advanced timing curves, a 180 degree thermostat to provide a denser air/fuel mixture and a free flow exhaust system to reduce back-pressure. The stage 2 will also enhance the performance of aftermarket intake systems, mass air sensors, TBI spacers, etc.
